Covered Bridge Project

Around 1906, a covered bridge was constructed in Scotts Mills. It was used extensively in the community until 1951 when Marion County replaced it with the present steel bridge. The historical society, with the help of Marion and Clackamas County, wants to develop a plan for restoring the covered bridge for walking and bicycle use. Original bridge drawings are needed but so far have not been located.
